Operations Prayers & Cookies of Wales needs your help!

In addition to the home baked cookies sent around the 6^th of each month, we would like to send "a touch of home", not only to our Wales troops, but as many of the troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan as possible. From now until the end of November 2007, we will be collecting Christmas cards to be sent to as many servicemen as possible. Cards signed by you with messages of hope and praise will be lovingly packed in the December mailing overseas. Homemade or purchased, these cards will be appreciated. Your help and that of all of your staff or organization members would be most appreciated.

Drop off points for this card project will be at August 25 Restaurant, Smith's Country Store, Wales Center Hotel or Zeigel's on 4498 Woodchuck Road.

If you would like to bake cookies, please contact Dee at 652-6776 by the 5^th of each month for inclusion in our monthly packages.

If you know of any Wales resident in Iraw or Afghanistan, we would like to add them to our list. This is only a small thank you to say "home" for our military, but one we feel will make them know we remember them and care.
